Renting a small home on Seminole Lane way back in 1978 was the beginning of my respect for the beauty and uniqueness of the Cedarcroft Community. My wife Barbara and I went on to purchase our own home around the corner off of Jordon Road, where we raised our two children and we never lost the desire to get back to where the forest meets the shore. Eight years ago we purchased a home on Cedarcroft Drive which we rented until September 2011,when we moved in full time and are now in the process of restoring.
An alumnus of Rutgers University and Stevens Institute of Technology, my professional career has had three phases: telecommunications professional with Verizon responsible at various times for engineering, product development, sales and management; CEO of a small information technology company and my current occupation as a technology writer and blogger and part time home restorer and handyman.
I was appointed to the Board of Directors in January of 2012 to fill an opening on the board and am currently the Treasurer responsible for the club banking and finances. Over the years I have lead, or assisted with a number of projects with respect to the Clubhouse including installation of four new ceiling fans, wood floor restoration, replacement of all switches\outlets\vent & switch cover plates, installation of exterior lamp posts, painting of the kitchen, opening up of hallway and installation of electronic keypad access to club for Members.
