I am a"Cedarcroft kid" growing up in the house next to the Club where my parents still reside and moving back to the neighborhood at 30 Lenape Trail in 1999 with my late husband, Glenn Hartdorn. My first friend in the neighborhood was Marsha Goforth (in spite of my being one of those kids from North Jersey-we moved here in 1966). It was fun growing up on the water swimming, sailing, boating, and water-skiing. The early winters were truly unique: our families were the only residents on Cedarcroft Drive! The Club and activities were a big part of my life, from sailing competitively to lifeguarding as a kid, as well as having many personal memorable events at the Club as an adult: my wedding reception, graduation party from graduate school, and a 50th birthday party. I learned a deep appreciation of nature due to the unique combination of woods, water, and beach that our community enjoys.
I have served as a director supporting activities, as secretary, and now president, of Cedarcroft Club. I am happy to have served and am happy to continue to support the community that has been such a part of my life.
